What if a supplier doesn't respond to me?

When you reach out to suppliers, they often don't respond immediately (or at all.) Here's what to do next.

This is a VERY common occurrence whenever you're doing any type of sales. The reality is that people are busy, and suppliers get lots of emails from store owners every single day.

Your job as a store owner is to:

  • keep reaching out until you get in touch with them (without being annoying)

  • make your sales pitch compelling enough that suppliers eagerly respond to you

So with the above in mind, our advice is to:

  • Reach out to them every way you can - both phone and email. (And chat if they have it!)

  • Set a schedule to reach back out to them in a couple weeks if they don't response

  • Tweak your outreach template until you find something that starts to get responses.
